Colorado Colourado Red IPA Launch

On Wednesday the 6th of May from 5pm, we'll be officially launching our latest brew "Colorado Colourado".

Colorado Colourado is a Red IPA (6.5%), and is a collaboration with Doug Odell from Odell brewing Company in the USA.

The name is a dig at the different spelling of the word "colour" in the states, so it's quite fitting that Odell Brewing is in Colorado! If you check out the beer poster, the mountain is the Maroon Bells in Colorado and it's reflection underneath is the mountain by the Moke Lake in Queenstown.

This collaboration brew saw our own Kelly Ryan team up with American brewing legend, Doug Odell of Odell Brewing (Fort Collins, Colorado, USA).

Doug's multiple award-winning "Runoff Red IPA" was the canvas and reinterpreted with all New Zealand malt and hops. Wai iti, Kohatu, NZ Cascade and Southern Cross are showcased in this rich malty brew.

Caramel malts, raspberry and citrus spice welcome the nose and the toasty malt character integrates well with the classic Kiwi hop fruitiness. A gentle yet spritzy finish makes this a wonderfully sessionable drop.

See you up here at the Fork on Wednesday!
