Style: Pale Ale
ABV: 4.7 %
A colab with our friend Richard Watkins at Bentspoke in Canberra. Ale of Two Cities is a gently refreshing Golden Ale with NZ and Australian hops. A delicious pale ale with a perfect balance of hops and malt.
Style: Australasian Pale Ale
Malt: Ale, Caragold, Light Crystal
Hops: Riwaka, Citra, Pacific Jade, Mosaic
Yeast: House Strain, warm fermented
Look: Liquid gold, the colour of the spring sun as it dips over the Makara hills
Flavor: Take a sip and the gentle bitterness flows across your tongue. It lingers and
heads south, followed by that sweetness. That yin to the hop yang. The fruit-rich
flavors and hop oils coat the mouth with an almost sherbert-like tang…all zest and
citrus and quaffable goodness.
Aroma: a deep sniff shows dominant hop resins. A mixture of passionfruit and
tangerine. Of fresh grass and gooseberries. All surrounded by a soft and sweet malt
