New Fork & Brewer website goes live

August 13, 2012

Welcome to the fully redeveloped Fork & Brewer website which is packed with new features and content. This funky and fully functional website will allow us to keep people informed about what is happening upstairs at 14 Bond Street and to receive your feedback.

With forty beer taps and a row of fridges packed with various bottles, it can be hard to keep pace with our extensive and ever-changing beer list. We will be regularly updating this website’s Beer section with the latest information about which beers are pouring and what exciting brews are coming next. Of course, do not be afraid to ask our friendly staff for their advice and recommendations.

The new Food section contains a link to our full current menu and the suggested beer matches for every dish. Matching outstanding food and excellent beer is an art but, done well, the resulting combination can be greater than each element individually. At the Fork & Brewer, the menu is revised regularly to allow our talented team in the kitchen to showcase some seasonal specialities as well as continuing to cook the crowd favourites. We have even persuaded Chef Anton Legg to share some of his signature recipes on the website.

As its name suggests, the News section will contain updates on events, launches, special offers and progress on the in-house brewery and beers (they are getting closer – we promise). The Reviews section will show what other people have been saying about the Fork & Brewer in the media and on the Internet. It is very gratifying and humbling to have received so many favourable reviews in our first year, especially from the likes of top critic David Burton who gave us a 4 1/2 star food review.

There will be a regularly updated Gallery section which will capture some of the action at the bar. Finally, the Contact section has all our relevant phone numbers, email addresses and hours of service. This should make it easy to contact us with any questions, requests, bookings or feedback.

A lot of work has gone into redeveloping this website and we sincerely hope you enjoy it and find it useful. As with any new site, any feedback on improvements or changes would be most welcome. After all, our mission is to take Wellington’s already awesome beer culture to an entire other level.
